Insurance Plans & Billing Options
We work with a wide range of insurers and billing arrangements to make care accessible.

Injured in a car accident? We accept all auto insurance carriers in Maryland. Your PIP (Personal Injury Protection) coverage typically covers chiropractic care after an auto accident — often with no out-of-pocket cost to you.
Workers’ Compensation
We accept all workers’ compensation carriers. If you were injured on the job, your employer’s workers’ comp insurance covers your chiropractic treatment. We handle the billing and documentation directly.
CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield PPO
We accept CareFirst PPO plans for general chiropractic care. Please contact our office to verify your specific plan benefits and any applicable copays or deductibles prior to your appointment.
Personal Injury Cases
How Lien-Based Billing Works
For patients involved in auto accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, or other personal injury cases, we offer lien-based billing — so you receive the care you need now, with no upfront payment required.
You come in for treatment. We sign a medical lien agreement with you and your attorney.
You receive full chiropractic care with complete medical documentation at every visit.
Our fees are paid directly from your settlement proceeds. You pay nothing out of pocket.

Common Questions
Billing & Insurance FAQ
What if I don’t have insurance?
In cases of financial hardship, we will work with you to establish a payment arrangement. We believe no patient should go without care because of cost. Please speak with our front desk team to discuss your options.
What is a medical lien?
A medical lien is a legal agreement in which the clinic agrees to defer payment for your treatment until your personal injury case settles. Your attorney handles the distribution of settlement funds, including payment of the lien.
Can I use my health insurance?
We currently accept CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield PPO for general chiropractic care. For accident-related cases, your auto or workers’ comp insurance typically provides the most direct coverage. Call us to confirm your plan.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is required to see a Doctor of Chiropractic in Maryland. You may schedule directly with our office. Same-day and next-day appointments are often available for new patients.
