Straightforward Answers, No Surprises
Personal injury chiropractic care comes with a lot of questions — about cost, insurance, attorneys, and what actually happens at your first visit. We put the most common ones together below. Don’t see yours? Just ask us directly.
Do I have to pay anything out of pocket?
In most personal injury cases, no. We treat on a medical lien basis, coordinating directly with your attorney or the at-fault party's insurance. You get care now; payment comes from your settlement.
Do I need a referral to be seen?
No referral is required. Call either location directly or use our online contact form to schedule — most patients are seen within 24–48 hours, often same-day.
How soon after an accident should I see a chiropractor?
As soon as possible. Many soft tissue and whiplash-type injuries don't show symptoms right away, and early evaluation both speeds recovery and creates the medical documentation your claim needs.
Will my auto insurance cover chiropractic care?
Maryland auto policies with Personal Injury Protection (PIP) typically cover chiropractic treatment after an accident. Our staff can help verify your specific coverage before your first visit.
Do you work with my personal injury attorney?
Yes. We coordinate directly with your attorney on lien agreements, send progress reports, and provide complete documentation to support your case from your very first visit.
What if I don't have an attorney yet?
That's fine — you don't need one to start care. If you'd like a referral, we can point you toward attorneys we've worked with, but the choice is always yours.
Do you treat workers' compensation cases?
Yes, we treat work-related injuries and coordinate with employers and workers' comp carriers. See our work injury treatment page for details.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring a photo ID, any insurance information (auto, health, or workers' comp), and your attorney's contact information if you're already represented. We'll handle the rest.
What conditions do you treat?
Whiplash, back and neck pain, headaches, sciatica, and soft tissue injuries from auto accidents, work injuries, and slip-and-falls. See our full list of services.
