Study Results

At all follow-up time points, the chiropractic manipulation group showed significantly greater improvements on every outcome measure:

• Headache intensity: Substantially greater reduction in pain severity
• Headache frequency: Significantly fewer headaches per week
• Headache duration: Each episode lasted notably shorter
• Disability: Much greater improvement in daily functional capacity
• Medication use: Greater reduction in analgesic consumption

The Difference That Manipulation Makes
